Intro to Quilting

Join us as we go through the basics and beyond of making a quilt! By the end of 6 sessions, you'll be able to look and proudly say: I made this!
Topics covered in class:
tools, cutting, pressing, 1/4", color theory, block assembly, sashing and borders. We will offer a free encore class that will cover quilting and binding about 3-4 weeks after the class.

A sewing machine in working order is required for this class.
If you are new to sewing and need an introduction on how to use the machine, please contact us to schedule a one on one class with you at least a week prior to Quilting 101 starting. (We want to make sure that you are successful.)

*We have a try before you buy on a lot of the tools, and a discount. So if you are unsure of items to purchase, please let us help you first.

Please register through the ISU website.

If you have any questions please reach out to Sew in Stitches.
