Quilting 103 - April 2024

Quilting 103 is an advanced beginner-level quilting class designed to build upon the skills acquired in Quilting 101 and 102. In this course, students will delve deeper into the world of quilting by focusing on new techniques while reviewing ones previously learned.

You will learn to create V-Blocks, which are used to add dynamic visual interest to quilt designs. By mastering this technique, students will be able to incorporate intricate geometric patterns, stunning star motifs, and captivating illusions into their quilts.

In addition to exploring V-Blocks, Quilting 103 also offers an opportunity for students to review and reinforce the skills and knowledge acquired in previous quilting courses. Students will revisit fundamental concepts, such as fabric selection, cutting techniques, piecing methods, and assembling quilt blocks. This comprehensive review will solidify their understanding and enable them to apply their expertise more confidently in future quilting projects. Space is limited, so reserve your spot today!

Fabric Requirements: 3 yards of background fabric and about 3- 4 yards total of other fabrics in the form of Fat Quarters and yardage.
