Intermediate Quilting with Ellen

The thought of sewing curves strikes fear into the hearts of many experienced
quilters, but curves don?t need to be intimidating! Join Ellen for an introduction to
sewing curves in several sizes, as well as using paper-pieced sections in blocks for
crisp, precise results. We will make 8-12 blocks, and you'll choose your favorite 6 to
include in this colorful quilt. The book we will be using, The Quilt Block Cookbook by
Amy Gibson, is an invaluable resource for the intermediate quilter. In addition to
blocks, templates, and quilt designs incorporating those blocks, Gibson explains the
block grid system and how to use it to mix and match elements from different blocks
to create the look you want.
